Working with my hands and designing jewelry has been a part of my life ever since I can remember.    I have been fascinated by designs, shapes and color.  One day, I was inspired when I came accross some lovely toe rings and decided to design one.

Later on that day I was going out to have dinner with a friend of mine.  It was her birthday.  She had just previously gone through a very difficult time in her life.  Her husband left her, she miscarried their child and totalled her car all in a matter of 30 days.

As I was standing in my garage I was praying and I asked God..."What can I give her for her birthday?"  Before I could finish my thought a scripture came to my mind which reads..."For they shall be like jewels on a crown".  Zechariah 9:16

This may sound odd to some of you but I felt like the Lord said...."No matter what you are going through, the Lord sees you... as 'His precious jewel'."

So I went to my closet and made my first toe ring and gave it to her with a card and shared what I believe the Lord spoke to me.

The journey of making jewelry has been an overwhelming joyful experience.  I have been so blessed and honored to make custom pieces for people and most of all to share the story to remind everyone that..."No matter what, the Lord Jesus Christ sees you... as 'His most precious jewel'."
